This is a GREAT event for those new to public service, or those just wanting to work an easy event. All the action happens within the Track and Football field at Cary High School. We need about 5 volunteers to shadow event staff while they set up Saturday morning for the two day relay event. The only equipment you will need to work this event is a handi-talki, spare batteries and an earphone. The CAM (Cary/Apex/Morrisville) Relay for Life benefits the American Cancer Society.

2011 CHATHAM 3RingCycle

June 11, 2011 – Saturday – Pittsboro, NC
The 2nd Annual Chatham 3RingCycle will be on Saturday, June 11th beginning and ending at the Central Carolina Community College campus.

The ride features a choice of three well-marked routes: 30, 60, and 100 miles through the beautiful, unspoiled backroads of Chatham County. We will need 12 – 15 ham volunteers to provide communications for this event…. Sag’s, rest stops, shadows and course monitors.

A 75 and 35 Mile Charity Bike Ride!

Operation Red Sleigh is a charity that assists families in Randolph County who were in need. Our organization helps underprivileged children in Randolph County who will not have a Christmas. We provide children with gifts and a hot meal for the family the day the presents are handed out prior to Christmas.

Time again for the 200 mile Tour de Cure to benefit the American Diabetes Association.  We can never have too many volunteers for this event, so sign up today!

This large walk benefits the MS Society of Eastern NC. We need about 15 ham volunteers for shadows, SAGs, net control, rest stops and a variety of other assignments.

This one day 25 & 50 mile ride is a training event for riders who plan to participate in the MS Ride in September. The ride benefits the MS Society. Ham volunteers will be needed for SAGs, rest stops and course monitors.
